This webquest uses an Inquiry Based Learning framework. Students work at their own pace and to their own abilities. There is a lot of flexibility and choice in how students wish to take responsibility for their own learning.

- Working towards the core level are given clear instructions with guided support from the teacher and a variety of informative websites
- Working at the core level follow the instructions and can choose to work at the minimum or challenge themselves further
- Working beyond the core level are encouraged to go beyond the instructions on the webquest and carry out further investigations
